August 10, 2008 SORCS Team Race

This weekend Steward & Grant joined forces to take the youth Overall at the 6-hour SORCS Team race in Tennessee. Only 1 1/2 minutes from being 4 laps ahead of the rest of the field, they completed a total of 37 laps for 148 miles.

The next morning, they rode the 8 hour adult race on a 4 man team with their dad and Trey Welborn, for 6th place in the Open-Expert Class. What's neat about that is that Trey's dad and Big Stu's dad (Grandad Baylor) used to race together when their boys were small!!
